Vinnie Craven entered the real estate and mortgage industry in 1988, during one of the toughest interest-rate environments in history. He didn’t learn in a booming market—he learned in the trenches. In 1990, he founded Monument Mortgage, where he personally closed thousands of real estate loans and worked directly with buyers, sellers, banks, and agents.
This hands-on experience built Vinnie’s deep expertise in mortgages, underwriting, credit structure, and deal analysis—skills most investors and coaches have never truly mastered. Long before online courses and social media “experts,” Vinnie was structuring complex deals at the closing table, laying the foundation for everything he teaches today.

Vinnie has owned and operated hundreds of properties, including single-family homes, Section 8 housing, luxury rentals, corporate housing, short-term rentals, and multi-million-dollar residences. Alongside his wife, Aimee, he ran large-scale rental operations that directly competed with national brands like Korman Suites. This wasn’t theory—it was real capital, real risk, and real execution.
